Poetry : Dark wish

I don't know why
Cry ah cry

Things are not working out
They some how never do
Second guess the ‘I’
What would you say?

Hold them so dear
Trepidation!
One day they will leave
Don't intend to let that happen.

How far have I walked?
Quantify please?
Can you qualify for me?
Not here.
Anyone care?

Just passing though
On my way to somewhere higher
Going to get there before they do?

I have no idea.
None at all.

All is dark.
My surroundings.
The light draws neigh.
Fear not.
